18:40    Six Sigma in Ireland 2002 - 2009    John Ryan

John Ryan is a UL Engineering graduate who became involved in Six Sigma while working as Quality Assurance Manager in AlliedSignal Automotive in the US in the mid 1990’s. John joined with fellow AlliedSignal Six Sigma Black Belt, Éamon Ó’Béarra in 2001 to form ASST Ltd, an Irish company specialising in Lean and Six Sigma training and advisory services.

ASST Limited have delivered all Six sigma and Lean Training for SQT Training since 2002 and currently have 10 tutors from companies such as Ford, Dell, Xerox, Rolex and American Express. ASST Ltd via SQT Training have trained well over 1000 Six Sigma Green Belts and over 100 Black Belts.

Case studies from many different industries covering SME’s to large corporations in both manufacturing and service industries. This presentation shows the types of projects being undertaken by organisations utilizing the Six Sigma approach and the benefits these organisations are getting from their Six Sigma programmes.
