Project Management Institute to bring 1,500 visitors to Dublin
PMI Global Congress 2011 - EMEA: Convention Centre Dublin, 9-11 May 2011
Dublin will be the centre of the project management universe for three days next May. Project managers from all over the world will arrive for one of the biggest events in their year.
Over 1,500 are expected at the Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Congress - Europe, Midde East and Africa (EMEA). This high-profile event will be one of the most significant at the Convention Centre Dublin, putting the centre firmly on the map for project managers world-wide.
PMI is the world’s leading organisation for professional project management. With over half a million members and holders of its credentials in 185 countries, it is dedicated to making project management indispensible for business results.
PMI Global Congress events are a very important part of the PMI programme. The three-day Dublin event will include a keynote address and over 45 educational presentations organised into 10 categories, or areas of focus.

Ireland Chapter of PMI
There are over 1,200 PMI members in Ireland and over 800 of these are members of the Ireland Chapter of PMI. They work in all sectors, including IT, pharmaceuticals, construction, and manufacturing. Collectively, they manage millions of euros in project investment.
