Survey Request: Irish Civil Engineering Contracts
A Study on Irish Contracts, Disputes and Dispute Resolution Techniques
The aim of this study is to gather information on different types of contracts, focusing on the causes of disputes and the tools used within the industry to reduce or remove their effects. To further increase the relevance of this research, the study also specifically investigates disputes in projects using the government’s new GCCC contracts.
It is hoped that this research will paint a clear picture of contracts and disputes in Irish civil engineering and will provide an early look at the progression of any GCCC contracts. This information can then be used to provide the industry with a clear list of pro’s and con’s for various contract types so that the most common disputes can be foreseen and avoided.
We're looking to get as many civil engineers, consultants, architects and contractors to participate in the survey as possible.
