Colum Horgan, PMI Vice-President

PRESIDENT

Colum Horgan PMP is President of the Ireland Chapter. Colum has 18 years' experience in Project Management and is co-founder director of AspiraCon. AspiraCon specialises in consulting, training and solutions provision in the Ppoject management area. Prior to this, Colum was a senior manager in Motorola in Cork having previously served as a Project Manager and engineer in Panasonic, Lake Communications and MDS Networks.

Ronan Foley, Ireland Chapter of PMI Outreach Officer

VICE PRESIDENT - PROGRAMMES AND OUTREACH OFFICER

Ronan Foley is a director with Clarion Consulting Limited with responsibility for Clarion’s Project Delivery and Business Development groups, UK and Ireland.  Prior to this, Ronan spent a number of years working with some of Ireland's leading indigenous software & consulting companies including Reflex, JBA, and KPMG Management Consulting. He has over 14 years experience of the Irish IT industry and is a native of Dublin.

Kieran Boyce PMI President

PAST PRESIDENT

Kieran Boyce is the past President of the Ireland Chapter and is a programme manager with a Dublin-based software company.  He has worked in software development for over 25 years, and project and programme managment for over 15 years.  He has worked with blue-chip financial and consultancy companies in Ireland, the UK and throughout Europe.  In addition he has lectured on project management and software development with a number of Irish academic institutions.

Elina Bychkova, Finance Officer

FINANCE OFFICER

Dr. Elina Bychkova, PMP is the Finance Officer of the Ireland Chapter of PMI and an Associate in RPS. Elina has a broad experience in the project management of infrastructural projects from planning to commissioning stage. Some of the projects Elina has been involved in as a Project Manger are Irish Rail Car Park Expansion Programme, Dublin Airport Northern Runway Operation Planning Application, Mixed Use Development at Skerries and Osberstown. Elina also delivers PMP exam preparation course and lectures on project management.


Rory Scanlon, IT Support Officer

IT SUPPORT OFFICER

Rory Scanlon is IT Support Officer of the Chapter. He supports the work of the Chapter by managing the technology it uses, including this website.

Rory is an experienced project manager with 18 years experience in the software development industry.  He has been successfully using Scrum and Agile project management practices for the last five years.

  

Niall Murphy, Ireland Chapter of PMI Marketing & Sponsorship Officer

MARKETING and SPONSORSHIP OFFICER

Niall Murphy PMP has been elected to the newly created role of Marketing and Sponsorship Officer. In this capacity he will promote the Ireland Chapter of the PMI and develop the Chapter's sponsorships. Niall is a Senior Development Manager with Oracle. He has a proven track record in delivering large scale global projects on time and budget.

Maurice Lynch, Ireland Chapter of PMI Professional Development Officer

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Maurice Lynch PMP is currently employed as a Operational Excellence coach in Intel Ireland. Previously Maurice worked as a Project Manager, Web Developer and Engineer. Maurice is the current “Professional Development Officer” within the Ireland Chapter of the PMI.

As part of this role Maurice wants to create an organisation that will be recognized amongst the business community as a vehicle to take advantage of multiple professional development programs and opportunities.

 

Frank McCullagh, Ireland Chapter of PMI Membership Officer

MEMBERSHIP OFFICER

 

Pat Lucey PMP is the Membership officer and is working to develop the services that the Ireland Chapter of the PMI offer to its members.  Pat has over 20 years of experience, managing all aspects of large-scale product development and delivery of Project Management consultancy in the IT, Energy and Pharmaceutical industries.

COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

Declan Cunningham is responsible for the organisation of the chapter outside the Dublin Region. In this role, he works closely with the Education, Outreach and Membership Officers. The Chapter strategy is to increase the profile of organisation through involvement with, and presentations to educational establishments and companies. Declan is an engineer with over 25 years of senior management experience in international general management and project management.
